Jacob’s Story*

Jacob has been a part of Spectrum Health Care for nearly three years, and during that time, he’s experienced tremendous growth on his recovery journey. While it’s taken longer than he initially expected, Jacob views this as part of his personal path and takes full ownership of the progress he’s made. He’s especially grateful for the unwavering support and encouragement from the Spectrum team—particularly the nurses—who’ve stood by him every step of the way. Ally’s Story*

Ally has been at Spectrum Health Care for several years, and throughout that time, she has received unwavering support on her journey to get clean and sober. Now celebrating 10 years of sobriety, Ally is deeply grateful to everyone who has played a part in her recovery. Special thanks go to Lenny, her counselor, for providing exceptional guidance and advice. With Lenny’s help, Ally was able to take that advice to heart, ultimately achieving a life of sobriety. The most impactful part of her experience at Spectrum is that she never felt like she was treated as an addict—she was always treated as a person.
